I’ve started to work on next major release of PTR. It is designed to work best with WordPress 2.5 and will process differently. Features are:

With Post-Thumb Revisited you can link thumbnail to the post, the image or an url.
This is done by using the parameter: LINK.

Default: if not specified, LINK will attached the thumbnail to the image.
LINK=p: this will link the thumbnail to the post.
LINK=u: this will link the thumbnail to the url which the image is linked to […]

Those who went through this site have seen a wordtube icon in the middle of the top banner. As you’ve seen, it opens on a player which lets you choose among all the wordtube playlist.
I’m wondering if this is something worth a plugin..

New parameter: LINK (i|u|p). This will link the thumbnail to the image (i = default), the post (p) or an external url (u). With link=u, if the plugin detects an img inside an anchor with href, the thumbnail will be linked to the url in the href.

This will give the choice to link to either the image, the post of the url which would be found attached to the img.

WARNING: it is important to validate options once after installing. It may also be necessary to refresh Post-Thumb table (in options).
New parameter: DIRNAME. This will include the name of the parent directory in the thumbnail name. This is to manage lists of photos saved under different directories.

The stripe of thumbnails you’re seeing at the top of the blog is a nice mix of Post-Thumb and jquery. I’ve played a bit with it and try an ajax load.
Of course, it’s not working so well with IE. Try Firefox instead.
