Post thumb revisited : problem with jquery

I’m in trouble with jquery. It looks like it doesn’t work well IE when a page contains a lot of usages of it. So until I find a solution, I have to postpone the availibility of thickbox (or any jquery usage for display).

    Hi,
    That is just too bad.
By the way, I’m having problems with your most recent version 2.1.2 beta. I’m getting invalid html all over the place for IE and has broken my layout. It could be because I’m using jQuery for other stuffs too.
Anyway I’m rebuilding from scratch again and would like to use your other old version.
Should it be 2.1.1 beta or 2.0.1? But I can’t seem to find 2.1.1 beta download.
    Thanks.

You should use 2.0.1 as last stable before 2.1 serie.

Could you tell me what kind of invalid html you get? My page is valid, so there has to be something ;)

    Hi,
The problem was probably caused by a combination of several scripts. “Share This” was one of them. I’ve erased everything and rebuilt it so it is difficult to say where it was invalid. Sorry.
I’ve picked up your newest version 2.1.4 and installed it to my half baked blog. There is still much to do but I thought it’ll be good for you to look at it at this point.
One thing that is bothering me is a “dot” right below the sidebar (lefthand corner). Do you know what is causing this and how to get rid of it. It only appears when Post Thumb is activated.
Thanks for your support as always.

    Looks goods :)
(it’ll look better when I’m home and can see it with a better browser than IE6 I guess ;)).

For the dot, that is because the widget adds <li class=”clear”>
after (as the most common sidebar form is with ul-li.
I guess I’ll have to make it a parameter.
To change it until I do, go inside the post-thumb-widget.php file, find “function web_recent”. You’ll see the line at the bottom of the function (line 264).
