News
I haven’t been very focused on my plugins lately. The reason is that I’m implementing a new SAP in my company, and the go-live is this week-end. I’m trying to answer as much as I can to questions. And I also have few things to change in Post-Thumb (next version will be 2.1.8.2). See project details here: trac
I hope I’ll have time more time available soon…

Hi,
How are things going. Hope you’re not drowning youreslf with too much work.
I have another question to ask. No hurry though.
How can I adjust the speed of pt-slideshow?
Thanks as always

Hello You
It’s in js/xfade2.js : setTimeout(so_xfade,3000); (twice)
It’s the timeout in milliseconds.

One question. Is there a way to set post thumb to display nothing if there is no image available? It would make laying things out much simpler for me. (I don’t need a default image, I’d rather have none at all…)

Yes. You can use NODEF as parameter.

Hi man,
Your plugin is really cool…
Is there anywhere a tutorial how to make a horizontal menu like yours here (that one on the top with recents posts thumbs and the title in blue bellow them)?
I really liked that and would like to do the same, with ur permission of course.
Thanks anyway
Joao (from brazil)

Ah-hem…no. So far, it’s quite related to the theme so I couldn’t really do something like a tutorial.

Any luck with getting this plugin WP 2.3 ready? It’s perfect for what I need
Thank you!

Well, I thought it was as my site runs WP2.3.

Hi,
Another question for you.
When a post is published according to a schedule (i.e. using the time stamp), the image of pt-recent in the sidebar uses only the default image.
Is there a way to have the image be the actual thumbnail?
Thanks.

I guess you would have to refresh the post table. I’ll have to update this.
octobre 30th, 2007 at 1:08
Do you mean manually everytime?
Which is what I’m doing currently.
octobre 30th, 2007 at 2:04
I’ve tried to fix this in the new version. You will have to re-save you future post once though.
octobre 30th, 2007 at 16:12
Ah - if it’s ready, please update the WP official plugin page. It says that it is only compatible up to 2.2.1
Thanks and great work
octobre 30th, 2007 at 23:19
Well, the compatibility tag seems to not want to update.

Hi,
I would also need the answear to how you manage to get you “recent-posts”-images to float alongside eachother? Where exactly do I do this?
thanks for a great plugin!

Is there any easy way to get post-thumb to flow horizontally?
juin 8th, 2008 at 16:51
Jeppe>this is only css. You have to set the image to float then specify the width of the display area to control how much lines you want.
juin 8th, 2008 at 21:56
Hi again,
thanks! Do you you have any specifiks on which css class or id that controls this? I have been trying adding a class to the ul in the “post-thumb-widget.php” to get a way in. Doesn’t work all that great. Am I in the right place?
Another thing that I can’t figure out is why the retrieved images get different sizes as thumbnails. I canät seem to get them to be the same size.

Thank u very much for your response.
